Ashley Lewis

Ashley Lewis is a dually certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with specialized certification in perinatal mental health. Her clinical foundation was built through years of hands-on nursing experience following her service in the United States Air Force, during which she was stationed as a medic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. She earned her BSN from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and went on to gain extensive experience in pediatric inpatient care, NICU, and cardiac ICU before pursuing advanced practice. She completed her MSN/PNP at Georgia State University, followed by a fellowship focused on child development and behavioral pediatrics, the Mississippi Thrive Fellowship, which highlighted the intersection of reproductive psychiatry and family wellness. Recognizing a need for deeper psychiatric training, she later returned to school at Augusta University to complete her post-master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at Yale, where she contributes to the training of the next generation of advanced practice providers.

Ashley is proud to bring her expertise to her local Savannah community through Tide and Branch Psychiatry. Joining this team allows her to connect directly with the families in her own community to offer specialized, compassionate care for mothers and young children at one of the most vulnerable and meaningful times of their lives. Outside of work, Ashley stays busy at home with her two young boys and their two-year-old golden retriever.
